Dancer Terrance Spencer
You are looking at outtake photos of Terrance Spencer a Seattle-based dance instructor and model. I love working with dancers, they understand their bodies and move gracefully. Terrance teaches dance at both Kreativ Mndz dance complex and Auburn Dance Academy. Besides being a dancer he is also involved LaidBack Allure which is an event company creating new experiences. Brooks Running Shoes
As a fashion stylist, I am called to style all types of things. This was the first time working on an on-figure Brooks running e-commerce shoot. I would be styling on the motion set, and the model was actually running on a treadmill. It was my job to make sure the clothing looked good while in motion.
Seattle Bride and Kristen Griffith Flower Wall
This shoot was fun because I had worked with a couple of the other artists before accept the art director and florist Kristen Griffith-VanderYacht. Kristen owns Wild Bloom Floral and he and his team build a crazy beautiful flower wall. It was crazy how quickly they all worked. I have done several bridal shoots and never has one had so many flowers. It was awesome. This would actually be the last bridal shoot I would style. These fashion editorials are fun and creative and a complete labor of love. It would take the company over a year to pay and for this particular shoot, I was never paid. The company filed bankruptcy and to this day I am still getting mail about the court case. Back in the day, you would show your book and it would be tear sheets, but these days it’s showing your portfolio is all digital via your website. Regardless it is always fun to work with great people. Here was the rest of the crew. Seattle makeup artist. Jamyrlyn Mallory photograhper: Liam Gillies stylist assistant: Stephanie Raeder
Lumber Union Clothing
This shoot was both a video and still photography shoot for Lumber Union clothing. Lumber Union is a Seattle or Pacific Northwest based brand. This was multiple shoots in one and we shot everything from holiday images to lifestyle. Lumber Union was launching underwear and the video we shot was supposed to take you through all the clothing you change into, from your workout to the office and then date night. Per usual, I rarely see how this content gets used. What I like most about Lumber Union tee’s is the quality and that they are made in America.
Creating a Look Book
In this fashion look-book I tried to tie in the same colors as well as new trends. I loved the bring vivid colors of spring and summer. Living in Seattle, it can be really grey and rainy. The infusion of color makes me smile. In creating a look book, there are many shots taken in order to get “the shot”.

Spring-Summer Fashion Shoot
This was shot in the first week of March 2020. The coronavirus had just hit Seattle and was in the news. I felt lucky to have been able to complete this job considering the madness that would unfold in the weeks ahead.
Bellevue Lifestyle Shoot
New work for Voyger Group. Looks like tons of photos and it was a full four days of shooting. So many models and so little time. We had shots in the mall, restaurants, courtyard, hotel spaces, and streets of Bellevue. Photographer Julian Harold was such a quick shooter. We didn’t spend too much time in any one space. These jobs start out big a bit overwhelming because of the racks, and racks of returns. Luckily for me on the fourth day of shooting I was able to bring in a additional assistant to start tackling this process.
Seattle to Tulum Mexico
Pulling product for this editorial in Tulum had it’s challenges, mostly because it was in Mexico, and I would need to have samples for over a week. Also Love Win’s was a new magazine and brands weren’t willing to send me stuff. Below is a picture of all the samples that were mailed for this shoot.
Styling a Amazon Home Shoot
Working with both Amazon’s Home creative director and the client OKAYBRO made for an overall fun couple days. The set included hip hop music, vegetarian food options, cool people, which I would call a chill team, and photographer Ian Coble. I knew both the MUA used Lindsay Watkins and Sara Swain which I wished I got to work with more often.
Weight Watchers Shooting in Seattle
I love shooting with Weight Watchers when they visit Seattle. It was so much fun reconnecting with the same Art Director and Editor. I worked with them a couple of years ago, and it’s awesome being able to reconnect and catch up years later. As big as the world is, it can still be small. One thing that I enjoy most about my job is meeting new people. Productions that roll in from out of town have me meeting people from all over the country. The creatives I get to work with are so talented. Always grateful to have repeat clients from years ago.
Foxwoods Resort & Casino
I spent a total of 10 days at Foxwoods Resort & Casino, 5 of which we were shooting both photo and video at the same time. Me and my team dressed over a 100 people in several different outfits throughout the week and when it was all said and done everyone on the crew was exhausted. I have been to casinos all around the country and Foxwoods is a casino worth staying at. I ate at every single restaurant, and would eat at every single one again. Below are some moments of the week that made me smile.
